Dr. Ji was Awarded the Dr. Harold and Golden Lamport Award in Clinical Research!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n June 22, 2026<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Dr. Ji was presented with the Dr. Harold and Golden Lamport Research Award, awarded to 2-4 junior faculty annually at Mount Sinai with exceptional potential for making significant contributions over an extended period of time. This award is truly a reflection of the entire team’s hard work and success!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Paula Successfully Defends Her Thesis!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n April 30, 2026<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Congratulations to Paula, the lab’s first PhD student, for giving a fantastic dissertation seminar and successfully defending her thesis! Paula will be pursuing her postdoc at Mount Sinai in the Labs of Diego Chowell and Gabriele Campanella. Aubrey will focus on spatial analyses of skin inflammation and cancer. Congratulations, Aubrey!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n New Funding from the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n July 20, 2023<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n Dr. Ji received a Clinical Investigator Award from the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation to investigate the molecular basis of skin squamous cell carcinoma aggression in organ transplant recipients. Dr. Ji also previously received a Physician-Scientist Training Award from Damon Runyon and is thrilled to be working with the foundation once again.
