In support of NIH funded R01 grants. The projects focus on tissue engineering of the intervertebral disc and on mechanisms for diabetes induced disc degeneration. The ideal candidates will have a background in biology or bioengineering with relevant experience on animal models, biological assays, histological methods, mechanical testing and\/or computational analyses.
