Welcome to H-LAND (PI: Trey Hedden, PhD)! H-LAND is the Hedden Laboratory for Aging and Neurodegenerative Disease located at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, New York. Our laboratory focuses on integrating multiple brain markers from neuroimaging to help build a comprehensive picture of how aging and neurodegenerative disease affect the relationship between brain function and cognition at an individual level. Our current work uses multiple MRI brain markers, PET markers of amyloid and tau accumulation, PET markers of dopamine transmission, and cognitive testing to identify potential preclinical Alzheimer’s related neuropathology in otherwise normal older individuals.
We are currently hiring in multiple positions. Check out our join the team page!
