She came to the US in 2019 to further enhance her research experience and study brain tumor biology through a Master&#8217;s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her thesis project was focused on determining the downstream target genes for a transcription factor implicated in GBM cell migration using ChIP-seq in Dr. Nadjeda Tsankova\u2019s Laboratory.<br \/>\nTanvi is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Cancer Biology training area.
