Dr. Hadri is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Hadri graduated from the University PARIS XI, Faculty of Pharmacy, Châtenay-Malabry in 2005. In 2006, she relocated to the United States and undertook a postdoc position at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, and in 2007 she moved with the team to Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, in New York City. The Hadri Lab focuses on cardiovascular diseases, pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). The current research objective is to provide an in-depth analysis of calcium handling proteins’ roles and their cellular signaling networks in cardiovascular and lung diseases and define a platform for the design of innovative therapeutic strategies using gene and drug targeted therapies. The lab has also a particular interest in exploring the role of epigenetic modifications and SIN3a/histone deacetylase complex in various cardiopulmonary diseases.
