\"AlexDr. Alex Federman<\/a> earned his medical degree from the State University of New York, Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn, completed his residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, and received clinical research training through the Harvard Medical School Faculty Development and Fellowship Program in General Internal Medicine. He also earned a Masters in Public Health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Federman is a board-certified internist who practices general internal medicine. He is Director of Research for the Division of General Internal Medicine and Director of the National Institute on Aging-funded (T32) post-doctoral research training program on Disparities in Aging and Dementia (DiAD).<\/p>\n

Melissa Martynenko, MPA, MPH – Research Program Director<\/strong>
\nMelissa Martynenko is the Research Program Director in the Division of General Internal Medicine. She received a Master\u2019s degree in Public Policy and Administration from Rutgers University specializing in non-governmental organization management and a Master\u2019s degree in Public Health from New York University with a concentration in global health and epidemiology after serving in the Peace Corps. For over 12 years, Ms. Martynenko has worked closely with clinician researchers in the Division to manage the study activities, research staff, budgetary requirements and regulatory compliance of pre- and post-award grants.<\/p>\n

\"\"Olga Alagiozidou \u2013 MBA, Assistant Research Program Director
\n<\/strong>Olga Alagiozidou is the Assistant Research Program Director for the Division of General Internal Medicine. She received a Bachelor of Communication Arts from Marymount Manhattan College and a Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University. Prior to joining the Division, she served as the Program Manager of the Institute for Medical Education at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she oversaw the operational and administrative aspects of the institute, including program management, grant management, financial management and communications. In this role, she oversees the Human Resources and Operations of the research program and is responsible for post award finance and regulatory compliance for several projects.<\/p>\n

\"\"Pranav Gwalani, M.B., B.S, MPH\u2013 Data Analytics Manager<\/strong>
\nDr. Pranav Gwalani holds a medical degree from B.J. Medical College, Gujarat University, and a Master’s in Public Health from Columbia University with a specialization in Epidemiology. He brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his current role, having served as a data analyst for two years under the leadership of Drs. Wisnivesky and Kong. During this time, he made significant contributions to projects such as the COVID registry, Survivors, and Nodules. In his role as Data Analytics Manager, he leads the division\u2019s statistical support and data management operations.<\/p>\n

\"\"Stephanie Margolin, MSW \u2013 Grants Manager
\n<\/strong>Stephanie Margolin received a BA from Roanoke College in Sociology and a Master\u2019s degree in Social Work from Columbia University. Prior to joining the Division of General Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai, Stephanie served as Senior Grants Officer at LAPA Fundraising, developing and executing fundraising strategies for nonprofit organizations providing supportive social services in NYC. She also served as Associate Manager of Government Grants and Institutional Strategy at VNS Health, where she was responsible for the prospecting and procurement of government and institutional funding across business lines. In her role as Grants Manager in the Division, Stephanie supports both pre- and post-award grant management.<\/p>\n

\"\"Ruchir Goswami, MD, MPH \u2013 Project Manager
\n<\/strong>Ruchir Goswami received a Medical Degree from B.J. Medical College, India, and Master in Public Health (Epidemiology) from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has worked in clinical research for the past eight years. He currently manages Dr. Federman\u2019s NIH and industry funded studies.<\/p>\n

\"\"Jennifer Utkin, MS \u2013 Project Manager
\n<\/strong>Jennifer Utkin received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Neuroscience from Columbia University. She worked at Columbia University Medical Center, overseeing neurodegenerative research studies with a specific focus on Huntington’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. In her role as Project Manager, Jennifer oversees NIH studies (C3, NLP\/NLP Supplement, and iTREAT) under the leadership of Drs. Federman and Wisnivesky.<\/p>\n

\"\"Thomas McIntyre, MPH \u2013 Data Analyst I<\/strong>
\nThomas McIntyre received his Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Global Public Health and Anthropology from New York University and his Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Columbia University.
