Ipek Ensari, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Windreich Department of Artificial Intelligence and Human Health at the Icahn School of Medicine and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Digital Health at Mount Sinai. She investigates mobile health (mHealth) and machine learning methods for complex patient-generated data toward improving chronic disease characterization and patient self-management. Her work is grounded in women\u2019s reproductive health conditions (e.g., endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain disorders) and populations at increased risk for health disparities (e.g., sexual and gender minorities).<\/p>\n

Nivedita Nukavarapu, Ph.D, is a postdoctoral fellow at the Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Health at Mount Sinai and the Windreich Department of Artificial Intelligence and Human Health in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She works under the supervision of Ipek Ensari. Her ongoing postdoctoral research centers on the integration of machine learning, electronic health records (EHR), mobile health (mHealth), and patient-generated data, specifically within the realm of women’s health.<\/p>\n

Samia Shahnawaz is a dedicated data scientist with a focus on healthcare analytics, making significant strides in the health tech innovation sector at the Windreich Department of Artificial Intelligence and Human Health within the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai as well as the Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Health at Mount Sinai. Her expertise lies in statistical analysis, data visualization, and model development, enabling her to convert complex healthcare data into actionable insights. Her career has been marked by efforts to enhance data quality and regulatory compliance, alongside spearheading digital transformation initiatives that optimize clinical trial processes.<\/p>\n
