{"id":54,"date":"2015-01-25T16:31:22","date_gmt":"2015-01-25T16:31:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/labs.icahn.mssm.edu\/devital-lab\/?page_id=54"},"modified":"2015-01-25T16:31:22","modified_gmt":"2015-01-25T16:31:22","slug":"research","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/labs.icahn.mssm.edu\/devita-lab\/research\/","title":{"rendered":"Research"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Drug discovery target identification and validation to meet the needs of patients has become even more challenging in spite of the huge amounts of genomic and metabolomic data available today.\u00a0 Close collaboration between biological and chemical sciences is vital to determine biological mechanisms of disease and to discover approaches to positively impact the disease state through intervention using molecular therapeutics.
