Uraina Clark, PhD
Lab Director
Dr. Clark obtained her PhD in Psychology from Boston University. She completed her clinical internship at the Brown University Clinical Psychology Training Consortium, and continued on to complete her postdoctoral training at Brown University focusing on clinical neuropsychology, neuroimaging methodologies, and neuroAIDS research. Dr. Clark is interested in revealing how brain structure and function relate to behavior, including the ways in which we think, feel, and interact with others. A main component of her research program includes investigating the effects of HIV infection on the brain. A second component is focused on investigating how adverse life experiences impact brain structure and function. Through this work Dr. Clark seeks to develop a better understanding of the factors that contribute to neurocognitive and neuropsychiatric disorders in adults.
