Inflamed ulcerative colitis regions associated to MRGPRX2-mediated mast cell degranulation and cell activation modules, defining a new therapeutic target.\u00a0<i>Gastroenterology<\/i>.<\/small><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>December 2020<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gastrojournal.org\/article\/S0016-5085(20)35575-X\/fulltext\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">study<\/a> published in <em>Gastroenterology<\/em>, we have shown that integration of genetic data from diverse populations improves prediction of IBD outcomes; the study of rare variants from diverse populations can highlight population specific risk variants for Ulcerative Colitis, such those in the very-early onset IBD associated gene\u00a0<em>LRBA<\/em>.
