One of our foremost priorities at MSCED is to advance the knowledge available around <span style=\"color: #333399\">E<\/span>osinophilic <span style=\"color: #333399\">G<\/span>astrointestinal <span style=\"color: #333399\">D<\/span>isorders (<span style=\"color: #333399\">EGIDs<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>We\u00a0design and conduct translational<span style=\"color: #3366ff\">*<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/labs.icahn.mssm.edu\/chehadelab\/research\/\"><span><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Research Studies<\/span><\/span><\/a> related to the pathogenesis of EGIDs and non-invasive tests for EGIDs and identification of food triggers in EGIDs. Initiated by the MSCED, we also participate in <span><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;text-decoration: underline\" href=\"https:\/\/labs.icahn.mssm.edu\/chehadelab\/clinical-trials\/\">Clinical Trials<\/a><\/span><\/span>\u00a0so that we may offer our patients\u00a0with otherwise\u00a0unavailable and cutting edge treatments options.<em><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><em>*Translational research is the conversion of basic science research into better ways to diagnose, treat and prevent disease in the clinical setting.
