This is a study of stress system neurobiological mechanisms and the potential role of cannabidiol (CBD) in ameliorating acute stress responsivity effects in young adults at high-risk for psychopathology.

As a key site within the Big South/West Node of the NIDA Clinical Trials Network, our team contributes clinical, scientific, and operational expertise to multi-site trials focused on developing and evaluating innovative treatments for stimulant use disorders (StUD). Through high-quality site performance, participation in protocol development, and engagement in implementation science initiatives, we support the Node’s mission to advance rigorous, scalable interventions for addiction.

Randomized, Placebo-Controlled Trial of Extended-Release Naltrexone and Monthly Extended-Release Buprenorphine for Cocaine Use Disorder (CURB-2)

This is an 8-week, double-blind, randomized placebo-controlled trial to determine the efficacy of a combination of Extended-Release Naltrexone (XR-NTR) and Monthly Extended-Release Buprenorphine (XR_BUP) compared to placebo injections (PBO-Inj) for the treatment of Cocaine Use Disorder. This is a 12-site study.
