Welcome to the BioImaging and BioDevice research laboratory, where innovation and advancement in MRI technology are at the core of our endeavors. At our lab, we are committed to developing new methods and techniques aimed at enhancing MRI performance. One key area of focus is the design and development of state-of-the-art MRI coils, which play a crucial role in optimizing image acquisition and sensitivity. Additionally, we explore innovative RF pulse sequences to improve image quality and enable specific imaging applications. Our lab also works on image post-processing techniques to extract quantitative information, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and enabling a deeper understanding of complex biological processes. In addition to these endeavors, our lab is actively engaged in the development of MRI conditional EP catheters for MR-guided navigation. By creating specialized catheters that can safely operate within the MRI environment. Furthermore, our research extends to the characterization of MRI contrast agent SPIO nanoparticles. These nanoparticles hold immense potential in improving the sensitivity and specificity of MRI by enhancing tissue and disease-specific contrast. Through comprehensive characterization studies, we aim to optimize the design and performance of these nanoparticles, opening up new possibilities for molecular imaging and targeted therapies.
