Judith A. Aberg, MD, is the Dr. George Baehr Professor of Clinical Medicine, Dean of System Operations for Clinical Sciences, and System Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases. She earned her medical degree from Pennsylvania State University, and completed her internal medicine residency and chief resident year at the Cleveland Clinic before going on to complete an Infectious Disease fellowship at the Washington University School of Medicine. Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Aberg was Director of Infectious Diseases and Immunology and the Jeffrey Bergstein Professor of Medicine at New York University School of Medicine and the Director of Virology at Bellevue Hospital Center, positions she had held since joining the NYU faculty in 2004. Previously, she served as Assistant Professor and Co-Director of the AIDS Clinical Trial Unit at the University of California, San Francisco and later as Associate Professor and Director of HIV Services at Washington University.
