The ORL promotes strong ties between the basic science and clinical faculty with a highly collaborative atmosphere. Dedicated to understanding conditions spanning the field of Orthopaedics, the ORL works together to investigate joint mechanics, spine degeneration and musculoskeletal injury. Research projects range from basic science studies exploring mechanisms of \u00a0intervertebral disc disease and tendon tears to new paradigms for repair in translational projects evaluating specific treatments. The ORL contains multidisciplinary faculty, experienced staff, post-doctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students, and visiting scholars.
