Jillian Shapiro completed her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at New York University (2010) and her Ph.D. in the biomedical sciences in Dr. Benjamin tenOever’s lab in the Department of Microbiology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (2013). During her doctoral studies, Dr. Shapiro was the recipient of a National Institutes of Health training fellowship and named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Science and Healthcare.
After her doctoral studies, Dr. Shapiro completed her law degree at Fordham University School of Law (2018) while working as an intellectual property legal intern at an international law firm. Dr. Shapiro is currently a Law Clerk at Fish & Richardson PC in New York.
