Dr. Jean K. Lim

Dr. Lim completed her postdoctoral training at the National Institutes of Health in 2010 after receiving her Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. Throughout her career, she has focused primarily on understanding the host response to viral infections, with a focus on understanding the impact of inflammatory responses on viral pathogenesis. In 2010, Dr. Lim joined the team of virologists at the Icahn School of Medicine, where she currently studies the pathogenesis of viral infections as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbiology.
